“The knowledge Oladoja gave me was different from what I knew. He taught me how to apply fertilizer in the right prescription, and that really helped me because I was using overdose. This year, my yield was great.”

But Taoheed wasn’t the only one benefiting. Oladoja, inspired by his own transformation, embraced the role of a knowledge sharer.

I will recommend that everyone delve into farming, especially women. They should not remain at the level of smallholder farmers. Now I see farming as a commercial opportunity that can transform lives.”

Before the training, I used outdated methods. I didn’t know the importance of peeling suckers or managing pests. Today, my plantains are thriving, and I’ve sustained my farm without losses.
